Hurst Rethink
We are a group of locals who have joined forces to drive sustainable change in the villages of Hurstpierpoint and Sayers Common. All of the group are volunteers and we have no political affiliations.
​
We have decided to focus our efforts on five main action areas: Biodiversity and Nature, Community, Green Consumer, Green Homes & Energy and Green Transport. Underpinning all of this will be work with the relevant local councils (Parish Council, Mid Sussex District Council, West Sussex County Council) and action groups as well as publicity and education in our community.

Hassocks Hurst Keymer Ditchling Transition (HKD Transition)

We are residents of Hassocks, Hurstpierpoint, Keymer and Ditchling acting together on the climate emergency for us and future generations. We are part of the international Transition Network, a global movement of thousands of communities in over 50 countries coming together to reimagine and rebuild our society within the limits of natural resources and with respect for the natural world.

South East Climate Alliance
The South East Climate Alliance (SECA) is a coalition of local environmental, community and faith groups from the South East of England uniting for urgent action on climate change. It acts as an informal umbrella group and has been set up to share ideas and coordinate action.

Scaynes Hill Sustainability Group
The Scaynes Hill Sustainability Group, which was started in 2012, aims to enhance enjoyment of the natural world and to raise awareness in the local area about sustainability and climate change issues, with events and information to help support a resilient community and a fuller understanding of the effects that our choices in life may have on the wider environment, our planet and our future livelihood.
